For the Asian leg of the tour, i-DENTITY visited Hong Kong. Riding on the momentum of presentations in London, São Paulo and New York, i-DENTITY had gathered significant press coverage and interest on its way to the Far East. As Suzy Menkes of the International Herald Tribune observed, “[i-D is] a magazine that gets under fashion’s skin… i-D epitomises i-D’s ‘controlled chaos’.” Supported by Diesel, the exhibition coincided with the Hong Kong Film Festival. Held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the opening night attracted its fair share of the Hong Kong entertainment scene. Daniel Wu, Isabella, Sam Lee, Wyman, Qi Qi and Hanjin were all present to take part in the celebrations.
